Rachel Pirani Brumfield

Culinary Instructor

 

Rachel Pirani Brumfield studied secondary education at University of Illinois at Chicago before transferring to Kendall College for Culinary Arts. She brings with her 15 years of teaching and facilitation experience and 8 years of culinary experience. This unique combination of skills and knowledge presents itself in her teaching. Rachel meets the students with compassion and high expectations. From basic knife handling to complex chemical reactions, she facilitates lessons to reach each and every student.

Outside of work, Rachel enjoys her "empty nest" home and keeps busy with an appointment to a non-profit board, writing curriculum for professional development, and traveling with her spouse.
