A proud South Side native, brings over 30 years of experience to the culinary industry—and for him, it’s still never a dull moment. He studied Hospitality Management at Purdue University Northwest and has worked in five-star restaurants, as well as catered high-profile events for celebrities and families across the United States.

Darian specializes in cultured fusion, a distinctive style that blends diverse ethnic cuisines and cultural experiences. He incorporates this approach into both his cooking and teaching, creating inclusive, flavorful dishes that reflect a global perspective.

Beyond the kitchen, Darian serves as President and Director of the HFY Corporation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities through educational classes, mentorship, rehabilitation housing, and certification programs that support job readiness and access to critical resources.
