Donor Advised Funds

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a philanthropic giving vehicle that provides an immediate tax benefit to you, and allows you to grant funds to charities of your choice. Recommend a DAF through your financial institution or foundation. You can recommend a gift by contacting your financial institution or foundation or by granting online. The grant will arrive at Recipe For Change with only the funds name and address on it, unless you request otherwise. You can also contact your fund manager. Call your fund manager and recommend supporting Recipe For Change, along with the amount of the grant. Your fund manager will send a check directly to Recipe For Change from your fund.

Matching Gift

Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to donate. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and can double, or even triple the impact of your gift.
